Animal Blessing in Grossweier – October 5th, 2025

To celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals,
the traditional Animal Blessing will take place on Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at 3:00 PM
at the Garden area of Restaurant Grossweier (covered and heated).
The ceremony will be held in German by Father Giuseppe Manfreda,
with a brief introduction on wildlife protection by Anton J. Schaffner.

From 4:00 PM, a mushroom risotto will be available for a symbolic price of Fr. 5.00.

All pet owners are warmly invited to join us for this meaningful event –
a moment of connection, care, and community between humans and their animal companions.
